In the past decade, E&B Natural Resources has built a portfolio of 25-plus long-lived producing oil and gas fields located in four states – California, Louisiana, Kansas and Wyoming. These fields are currently producing approximately 11,500 barrels of oil per day.
E&B Natural Resources focuses primarily on development efforts designed to optimize oil production at its properties. Operational efforts include well workovers, stimulations, sidetracks, and facility expansions. E&B Natural Resources also maintains an active drilling program designed to optimize and increase oil production at these properties.
In 2014, E&B drilled around 100 new infill and development wells. These new wells added to both reserves and production. In additional to field development work, The company employs thermal enhancement (steam flooding) to further increase production and significantly add probable and possible reserves to its proved reserve base.
Along with field development, E&B Natural Resources continues to grow the size and scope of its operations through an active acquisition and exploration program. Past acquisitions include Cuyama and Russell Ranch fields in northern Santa Barbara County, Kern River and L.A. Basin Fields. Other acquisitions include fields in Louisiana and Wyoming.
